March 30, 2015--Hello across the deep blue sea :)

My great wonderful mother,

How art thou? How was tour? Great I take it?

This week we saw a lot of miracles, it was a really great week. To start off, we met with one new investigator, a referral from a member, and he was fantastic! He actually understood the first lesson and he wanted to pray and read about it. He also wanted to come to church, but, that didn't happen because he woke up too late.

We also met one new investigator, Bu H, who has one 8-year-old daughter and who is just great!! She doesn't believe that all churches are the same and every single one is true and she wants to try reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it. She used to be Muslim but converted to Christianity a few years ago so she has a super strong testimony about Jesus.

Also, we did a lot of searching this week for people to hear us, and we found so many! One cool experience we had was when we asked this RT for referrals of Christians in the area and he gave us like 11. And so we go to one of the houses and knock on their gate and say "permisi" for like a few minutes and by the looks of it no one is home. But then a couple seconds later this lady comes riding up on her motorbike and is all, "are you looking for me?" And, not knowing who she is, we say, "yes". And then she is like, "oh, cool! Here, I have to get going to work right now, but I could meet with you guys next week! What's your number? Or actually, here, just have my number, and then call me next week, okay? thanks!" And then she gave us her number and wants to meet. That was a pretty cool little miracle :)

Also, do you remember that Pak E I wrote about the other week who we had a crazy awesome lesson with? Well, this week, we decided to meet with him for the last time because he hadn't come to church and wasn't really doing his commitments so we didn't see how we could help him much more. So we met with him on Wednesday and taught him a little bit about faith and works, and then asked him to call us or text us when he wants to meet again and feels ready to come to church and stuff. And we weren't planning to see him again. But, on Sunday, before church, I felt like I should text him and just invite him to church. He didn't reply or anything. But once church started, we got this call from a number we didn't know. So we excused ourselves and called them back, and they said they wanted to come to church but were a little bit confused about where it was, and they needed help. So we directed them and then stood in the front of the church waiting for them. It wasn't clear from the phone call who it was that we had just directed to the church. So, we were hugely surprised when all of a sudden Pak E pulls up on his motorcycle and comes in to church! It was such a miracle that he came, and we were so excited for him :)

Anyways, that about sums it up for this week,

Love you mother dearest,
Elder Paskett
