June 1, 2015--About 14 months left...that's so weird

The guards of the king's palace here in Solo
Hello there my mother, most wonderful and delightful one :)

That sounds pretty fun that you guys went out to Duchesne! I wish I could have gone there with everyone. I think it will be so weird to meet extended family when I finally get back. Everyone will be older and I'll never have seen Hazel as a little teensy wee one just as a slightly bigger wee one and stuff like that will be weird.

Anyways, as for this week, it was a pretty normal week with just pretty normal stuff that happened except for one thing: we had an investigator come to church!! His name is Pak S and he is batak. I was so excited that he came and I think he really enjoyed it. Also, a relative of one of the members came to church and we have an appointment with them so right now we have two people that it feels like could actually progress. I'm pretty excited for these next few weeks :)

Stake conference is next week so we are excited for that also. The members from all over Jawa Tengah will come--it's many hours by bus from most of the places.

Basically this week was a week of transition. We've been getting set up for successes later on if we are just patient. I just need patience :)

We met with a lot of members this week, and we had one little miracle. We had one appointment with a member, and the sisters had an appointment with this other member. The sisters had never been to their member's house though so they needed help getting there. The only problem was that the member we were going to visit was in a slightly different direction, and both members lived pretty far away. But we decided to just take the sisters to their member's house and we would just figure it out with our member and hopefully wouldn't be too late. After we dropped off the sisters we starting taking some back roads through the "desa" and then had a feeling to just turn right. So we did, and somehow we ended up on the street of the member we wanted to visit--3 minutes before the scheduled time. Doing good deeds is always worth it! Remember that :)

Love you lots,
Elder Paskett
