March 2, 2015--Hey there Ibu-ku :)

Courageous, kind, confident mother of mine,

This week has been a blur. We rode bikes so much this week. We were rejected so much every day. So many plans that fell through and didn't work out. It was a week of trials. We rode to one place, it didn't work out, rode to another place, didn't work out, up and down hills here and there and everywhere. :) But we have one shining light in the midst of it all--one investigator who exhibits all the signs of being a golden one. His name is Pak H. He and his wife have three kids, are Christian but not going to church right now, and are trying to change their lives. He is looking for the right church to join, and he has been praying every day to know what church he should go to. He also wants to become a better person and so he just recently gave up smoking. I know that us meeting with him was the answer to his prayers. Mom, we can help him find those answers he's looking for! Mom, he just needs to be able to recognize us as servants of the Lord, and he'll recognize the answer to his prayer. I know that this gospel and this church can help him be rid of those feelings of guilt that he has, it can help his family be even better people, and it will help him in so many other ways too. Oh I just wanna help him so bad! We're just waiting, faithfully, for his proper use of agency :) I hope it works out!

Also this week we started an exercise routine for every day. It feels so good to work out a little bit :) And it's so hard to do alone, so it's been good that our house is willing to do it together. We call ourselves the "Wolf-pack", us four in our house. We're really lifting and building each other up and motivating each other to do better every day :) We aren't perfect but man we are close and we are getting better and better! That is one thing I am really enjoying about this area :)

We also had ZTM this week and met as a zone. President is starting this "Master Teacher" program where you have to memorize each of the bullets in the long outline of the lessons in MIK (not word-for-word, but the idea of the bullet-point) and then memorize one scripture for each of the main principles, and then give the lesson to your DL. It sounds super hard. But if you can do it a certain number of times for each of the lessons, you can become a 1000% master teacher (one-thousand percent--that's not a typo!) and you get an exceedingly cool certificate and stuff, I guess. I really wanna do it so bad. Our house has a goal to start passing them off really soon :) And it's so smart from President to begin a program like that. I can imagine if every missionary here in Indonesia knew all the lessons from PMG and had memorized 6-7 scriptures for each lesson. We would be rock stars :) So, we're just gonna continue working this next week, all-out body and mind, to help people come unto Christ. Keep us in your prayers momma, and know you are always in mine :)

And in answer to your questions: I am quite well, actually. One thing that makes me quite well is that everybody is really loving English class right now! We have like 6 consistent followers (mostly 25-ish year old guys, interestingly enough) and we have a relationship with them now so hopefully we can invite them to do some non-threatening stuff like come to church with us or read about families in the proclamation to the world. I dunno we'll just see :) It rains all the time still :) Usually not until the afternoon or evening, but it's consistent every day. and no we wouldn't even know the difference when it changes to "fall" except maybe it would start getting less rainy maybe. :) In answer to how the work is going, see above.

Glad to hear the family is doing well, take care and kick some butt in Ultimate Frisbee for me okay? Love y'all!
